Recap - Innovative solutions for chronic diseases
A lot of knowledge sharing during the Recap final dissemination event
With only a few months left the wrapping up of the Recap project can begin. Therefore it was time to disseminate the project results presented by the partners.
The final dissemination event was organised on Wednesday the 22nd of October 2014 simultaneously to the World Health and Design Forum 2014 at the Muziekgebouw Frits Philips in Eindhoven, which was visited by 340+ participants.
The first part of the dissemination event focused on ‘Smart diagnosis: current applications and future challenges and business opportunities’. It gave an overview of the work and research on new applications for smart diagnosis along with business opportunities for telehealth & knowledge sharing across Europe and answered questions about what business opportunities telehealth could bring. The second part of the event gave more insight into ‘Opportunities and Implementation of Telehealth and Knowledge Sharing across Europe’. Regional Care Portals is about the future of telehealth and the importance of involving the patient. From telehealth solutions from a patient’s perspective and integration into community care to intelligent organisation of care and engaging stakeholders using a transnational health innovation portal.
